Special shout out to our project manager Doug, who is always responsive and great at communicating what is being done. We’ve all heard stories and watched the news about house fires, yet you never expect it could happen to you. In January 2018, we suffered a fire that left portions of our house unrecognizable and much of the rest damaged beyond repair. Thinking back now of all the urgent calls and conversations in the days following it’s clear the most important one was to Clay at John Grace. Clay came highly recommended from friends who had some work previously done by John Grace. We didn’t know much at the time other than we had seen their high-quality work firsthand. Clay and the team were at our house within hours of the first call. After meeting Clay, it was clear we were in the hands of a true professional and a highly skilled team that instantly put our mind at ease. John Grace jumped into action, covering our house from the weather and connecting us with all the necessary parties. At every step, John Grace was nothing short of first class. Communication was clear and prompt which was always appreciated with all the moving parts. Their ability to talk us through each step of the journey made all the difference in the process. In many ways they are far more than a restoration company. I’ve used the words, advocate, consultant and friend when describing our experience with Clay and his team. Our house was built in 1923, and as you might expect there was nothing easy or standard about our project. I can’t thank Tim, Dave, Doug, Casey and many others on the team enough for their amazing work, flexibility and desire to keep the integrity of the original house while delivering superior results. They are true craftsmen that I feel lucky to have had helping us. Having been through a number of previous renovations and contractors, I can confidently say the John Grace team is the most skilled team I’ve come across. I can’t thank John Grace enough for their efforts, professionalism, and exceptional work on our project and would happily recommend them. Looking back, I can’t imagine going through the process with anyone else.

We have had John Grace Construction and Restoration come in 2023 and 2024. They are great to work with! From the initial quote to completing the job the communication is excellent! Mitchell, Luke and Justin worked very hard and completed the jobs with extreme efficiency!

If I could give more stars I would. From start to finish my experience was first class. Big shout out to Nate and Ethan for their attention to detail during the demo. Tyler for the follow up and communication, and Eddie for the quality inspection follow up. Thank you for a positive experience!

The professional cleaners that they sent, Tyler, Jason, and Allan were excellent. Tyler Collins made sure that I got extra care and cleaning when the job was not up to his exacting standards and so Jason and Alan came and did a great job they made sure that before they left they had a walk through with me and that I was satisfied.

We experienced a fire and John Grace came in and helped us start to finish. They are very detailed, thorough, caring and responsive. They treated our home like theirs. They were great advisors, and subcontractors were as caring, kind and thorough as the JG employees were. They worked extremely well with our insurance company. They have excellent communication skills at all levels of their company. Our project manager Dan and account manager Mark T. were the BEST. Everything their website says is true. Would highly recommend them!

Had John Grace do a late night emergency cleanup over the weekend. Tyler & Fez were quick to get to the site despite it being late at night & on the weekend. They busted their tail until 1:30AM to get the job done. Very satisfied with their customer service & quality of work & would recommend them anyone that gets stuck with an unpleasant situation at their home!
